Big Massive Work

Kevin Hunt and Sam Venebles will be presenting a large-scale work using their BMW Series 1 as an exhibiting space.
|BMW| is a roving project space for the presentation of experimental large-scale work, exploring the idiosyncrasies of a life on the road.

|BMW| presents an autonomous platform for the production and re-contextualisation of inventive work.
|BMW| exists to bridge the gap between the monumentality of the solo exhibition and ephemerality of the festival, colliding the two together within the back of the artists’ car.
|BMW| is a fledgling curatorial project by artists and former directors of The Royal Standard Sam Venables and Kevin Hunt.

As |BMW| is a roving project, it will pop up at a variety of festivals and temporary events over the next 12 months including The Annuale in Edinburgh in June this year and Liverpool Biennial 2014, and all manner of things in between, SUPERNORMAL will be its second outing and each time |BMW| appears it will present a fresh solo exhibition.
