Newcastle’s kings of sloth and wrath have graced Supernormal twice before, notably bringing a vibe to the very first event not unlike that of watching Conan The Barbarian at one tenth of the speed whilst spectres from beyond R’lyeh invaded the outer realms of a sunny English afternoon. Such was the intensity of the experience, they returned in 2011, and have since proven themselves adept at both summoning a rumble to rent the earth asunder and a gateway to dimensions beyond insanity itself, and their heroically-entitled new effort ‘Stoner Rock’ is their best yet. We’re delighted to re-open this particular portal come August.
