Death Shanties

Since early 2013, Death Shanties have been a dominant voice in Glaswegian improv. With its separate members covering most of the spectrum of Glasgow’s famed arts and music scene, Death Shanties is a uniquely immersive live experience. Consisting of Alex Neilson (drums), Sybren Renema (sax/electronics) and Lucy Stein (live visuals), Death Shanties mixes wild avant-skronk with delicate imagery, painted live on an overhead projector.
