The Museum of Received Ideas
The Rural College of Art presents…. The Museum of Received Ideas.
A project between artists Georgina Huntley and David Gates, The Rural College of Art proposes to map and catalogue some of the discarded and lost items from the festival site through their own investigations and objects received from festival goers. The Museum of Received Ideas will display and catalogue a collection of found objects for the audience to both contribute to and observe as well as providing an opportunity for visitors to own take away documentation of their object by transforming it into a newly considered art-object. A complete online archive will exist alongside this and should anyone wish to re-claim any items they can apply to do so. The MORI will include contributions from artist Emma Fisher and musician Scott Bryant.
