Gnod
A transcendental moment occurred at the very first Supernormal back in 2010 at around 9 on the Saturday evening, in which, were a bystander to have observed it, the entire field appeared to be congregated around a glowing UFO. The sound emanating from the speakers was from Salford satyrs and outlaw visionaries Gnod, and given their involvement virtually every year since, they were top of our list for this fifth festival. Their sound may have morphed and mutated in the years since, yet it still stays steadfast to its central paradigm of expanding the cerebral frontiers through bold forward motion and repetition, repetition, repetition.
