Horse Loom

A veteran of the UK’s indie underground, having played in bands like Crane, Kodiak and most notably The Unit Ama, Steve Malley has more recently touched on a rich seam of tastefully restrained acoustic reverie with this solo project; taking influences like Bert Jansch and Davey Graham and allying them to both a punk rock spirit and an avant-garde sensibility, he’s arrived at an earthy and emotionally resonant sound-somehow both acutely personal and expansively universal.
