Khunnt
Straight outta Newcastle. Khunnt are a band devoted to the most utmost horror and unpleasantness in all its forms. Taking snail’s pace doom and rolling it through broken glass until it howls in agony, they define their own sound as akin to ‘watching static in a darkened room tied up in a duvet with belts’, and they’re not wrong. Think Khanate, think Goatsblood, but don’t think about it too hard or you might end up with nightmares. Yet were we to use the Geordie vernacular of Scott Dobson, we could sum up ‘What myed ye bad will myek ye better, yebuggerman’.
