Rex Nemo

In the first year of Supernormal, one of the defining moments was courtesy of the Promethean figure of Rex Nemo, who created a spectacle by the ‘Village Green’ DJ caravan still unrivalled for lunacy and pole-axing strangeness in the entire history of this event. Garage-fried loboto-rock, outrageous papier mache invention, choral cadences, Girls Aloud song titles read aloud from the back of a CD cover, and a surfeit of electrifying energy and abandon coalesced in a moment of dream-like horror unlike any previously experienced in the pursuit of popular entertainment. We had no hesitation in inviting Rex Nemo back, and lord knows if he can top that, but we’re looking forward to seeing him try.
