Stasis73
Stasis73 are a collective of film makers, painters, poets and musicians living & working on the south coast, that formed in 2009 and explore through installation, film & live performance the place where visual & sonic assume equal weight. Their sound & visual performances evoke an atmosphere simultaneously oppressive, uplifting, nostalgic and intriguing. Interwoven footage, photographs, images, location recordings, drones, manipulated noise, voice, text, whisperings & darkness, obscured feelings, layered artifacts, elegiac and melancholic, stark yet hopeful.
