The Hackney Secular Singers
The Hackney Secular Singers (aka the Punk Choir) have been meeting every Monday East London for four years of co-operative musical bliss, perverting the course of harmony by making alternative arrangements for new wave classics like ‘Germ Free Adolescents’ and ‘Blister in the Sun’. As well as performing they will be inviting you to join them for their ‘Choir from scratch’ singing workshop: bring out your voices and learn to sing in a group. We will be mashing up some fine examples of popular song to be performed before an audience of millions on Sunday.
