TOY ARKESTRA
The Conspirators of Pleasure (Poulomi Desai & Simon Underwood) will fill a room with recycled and discarded noise making toys, and introduce participants to the idea of toys as instruments for experimentation and shared musical improvisation. Have fun and create a “Toy Arkestra” – weather permitting we might even go for a toy parade! This is a workshop for grown-ups, that takes its inspiration from Russolo’s manifesto “The Art of Noises” and brings a contemporary twist that challenges consumerism for a communal adventure in sound.
