Yoke & Zoom (Movement Gallery)
Yoke and Zoom are an artist-led family whose interests combine universal concerns with domestic private moments, instigating collaborations and making interventions in public space and working with galleries in both an urban and rural context. They are also co-founders and directors of MOVEMENT gallery, on Platform 2, Worcester Foregate Street Railway Station.
Y&Z will bring their mock-tudor caravan entitled ‘Mobile Cottage Industries’ which was produced at New Art Gallery Walsall and has since toured to Tate Modern, Zoo Art Fair at Royal Academy of Art, Attingham House with Meadow Arts and The Big Chill Festival. They will also screen a film about artists community ‘Drop City’ formed in southern Colorado in the 1960’s from their inaugural exhibition at Movement.
